David Reiner, President of the SPEC benchmark consortium, is also a SPEC director and an Open Systems Group (OSG) Steering Committee representative. He is Advanced Micro Devices’ (AMD) primary representative to OSG, as well as the SPEC Power and CPU Committees.
Mathew Colgrove, SPEC’s Vice-President of Operations, is currently leading the SPEC High Performance Group (HPG) effort to develop high performance computing-focused benchmarks. He also serves as the chair of the Communications Committee.
Jeremy has served as SPEC Secretary since 2019 and has been a member of the Awards Committee since 2016. He has been a technical contributor to the SPECpower Committee since 2006, supporting the development of the SPECpower_ssj 2008 benchmark and the SERT suite. Jeremy also architected the Chauffeur framework and participates in the International Standards Group (ISG) Server Efficiency Committee.
Aaron Cragin has served on the SPEC board of directors since 2021 and serves on the SPECpower Committee.
Diego Esteves was elected to the SPEC board of directors in 2024 and currently serves on the SPECpower Committee and the ISG Server Efficiency Committee.
Klaus-Dieter Lange has served on the SPEC board of directors since 2007. During this time, he has driven the acceptance of the SERT® suite into many government regulations, for example, the U.S. EPA Energy Star for Enterprise Server regulations, the Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/424 (aka Lot9), Japan METI Top Runner for Servers, and the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC39 21836:2020 International Standard. He is the founding chair of SPECpower Committee, which developed and maintains the SPECpower_ssj® 2008 benchmark, the SPEC PTDaemon® interface, the Chauffeur® Worklet Development Kit, and the SERT® suite. Klaus is a founding member of the International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) and SPEC Research Group (RG) and has served on their steering committees since their inception in 2009 and 2011.
Jeff Reilly had previously served on the SPEC Board of Directors from 1996 until he stepped down in 2019. He was reelected to the board in 2021.
David Schmidt has served on the SPEC Board of Elections since 2022. He is the chair of the Open Systems Group (OSG) Virtualization Committee and a technical representative to the Virtualization Committee and Machine Learning (ML) Committee.
